Public Health and Covid-19

In March 2020, the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 as a global pandemic. The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the entire concept of public health. Over the past two years, more than 355 million people around the world have been infected with the virus and more than 5.6 million have died.

Public health has developed from focusing only on health promotion and lifestyle paradigms—to avoid many preventable diseases—to a more holistic view beyond traditional/clinical personal health and reactive care to include social, political, economic, environmental, and geographic determinants, all while improving outcomes and ideally reducing costs.

More investment in research and technology to meet the demand for new vaccines and medicines, innovative methods like distance learning and working, more respect and remuneration to health professionals, and normalization of the public health and social measures that were induced during the COVID-19 pandemic are expected to be seen in future.

Publication Opportunities

All accepted abstracts for International Conference on Public Health, Health Education, and Healthcare Services (PHH-2023) will be published in the Journal of Health Education and Public Health (Online ISSN-2631-8377) with a DOI number.

Why To Attend

International Conferences play an important role in the process of science. These meetings are the primary platforms for the researchers to present their recent research to their peers with the purpose of receiving feedback at an early stage of their research. In addition, these conferences allows the researchers to find what is latest in the field, learn new about the research, tools and technique, interact with international researchers, honing your communication skills, make connections with other scientists, find latest job opening in research labs, etc. You can present your latest study in front of the peers and will be able to receive positive feedback and constructive criticism about your research. Conference proceedings are always a good way to have your research published and indexed. Attending a conference is an achievement to put on your resume. Coffee breaks are a great time to have a relaxed conversation about your recent research. Conferences provide a unique opportunity to meet future colleagues, co-authors, advisors and career mentors and also an opportunity for students and beginning scientists to meet other people in their field and to begin to establish professional relationships.
